"The user is the main character in their own movie. My job is to understand their story."

Before design, I spent over a decade as an educator and actor — experiences that shaped how I listen, communicate, and design with empathy. Teaching taught me how people learn and struggle. Acting taught me how people think, feel, and make decisions.

Living and working in Spain pushed me outside my comfort zone and deepened my curiosity about people, culture, and how design can bridge complexity across different contexts.

Today I design intuitive digital products through research, iteration, and close collaboration with product, stakeholders, and engineering teams. I care deeply about clarity, accessibility, and creating experiences that genuinely help people.

A designer who took the long way here.

FAQs

But you're a new designer — why should we invest in you?
go on... →
Because I'm early in design years, not in responsibility or growth. Before design, I spent over a decade teaching and leading, which shaped how I think about people, systems, and accountability. If you invest in me, you're getting someone who won't plateau. I will compound.
← flip back
What's your design process?
go on... →
I start by understanding the problem and defining what success looks like for both the user and the business. Then I gather insight through research, map the flows, and think through edge cases before moving into high-fidelity design. In short: understand the problem, structure the experience, validate, and refine.
← flip back
How do you handle feedback and critique?
go on... →
I don't treat feedback as a threat to my work. I treat it as data. If someone challenges a design decision, I zoom out and ask what problem we're really trying to solve. I'm not attached to being right. I'm attached to building the best outcome.

INFREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What would your former students or teammates say about you?
go on... →
They'd say I raise the level of the room. I bring energy when things feel stuck, calm when things feel tense, and structure when things feel scattered. I take pride in being someone people trust to make things better, not louder.
← flip back
What kind of problems do you secretly love solving?
go on... →
I love messy ones. The kind where requirements are unclear, stakeholders disagree, and users are frustrated but can't fully explain why. That tension is where good design lives. Clarity is my favorite output.
← flip back
If you weren't designing, what would you be doing?
go on... →
If there were a world-traveling, cheeseburger-tasting, padel-playing, human-stories-building role, I'd apply. If not, maybe a serial game-show contestant.
